System & Network Requirements
To ensure optimal responsiveness and zero latency during heavy dining rush hours, verify that your local venue meets these recommended technical criteria.
Network & Broadband
- Broadband Speed: Minimum 10 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload (Recommended 30+ Mbps for high-volume venues).
- Local Wi-Fi Network: Dual-band 2.4GHz / 5GHz Wi-Fi router. We recommend placing POS terminals, KDS screens, and Waiter handhelds on a dedicated restaurant Wi-Fi SSID separate from guest Wi-Fi.
- Printer Cabling: For commercial kitchen printers, hardwired Cat5e/Cat6 Ethernet cable to your local network switch is strongly advised to prevent radio frequency interference from commercial microwave and induction equipment.
